A picture made by Janhvi

Image
So Janhvi is growing up fast, she is now three and half years old and here is a picture that she made today by her own imagination. Parenting a kid like Janhvi is such an overwhelming experience. She is such an adorable kid and still tough to deal with. She almost behaves like an adult and talk like an teenager. She is not someone who can be easily manipulated. This picture perfectly depicts my experience being a parent. She is a such a joyful girl to be around, yet when she is cranky.. it's a real pain. Sometimes I wonder if there is really any fault of the kids, or is it just we that fail to be patient and understanding around them. Are all her flaws a reflection of mine? or every child brings something of their own? There are a lot of questions that I will never really have an answer to, But being a parent to child like Janhvi is a blessing. Everyday is a lesson, and everyday is an experience. More power to you girl. Keep shining.

The End of four and half year relationship

Image
I still remember the first time we met, I knew its going to be a special relationship with you at that moment itself. Its been a long four and half years we were together. We have seen many ups and downs together. I am really thankful for all these wonderful years. It all started during my Master’s degree, you supported me in all the assignments and exams through out. Although it was all not smooth we had few problem’s too. I remember the time when you got angry and decided to crash your hard disk erasing all the memories we had together, once you stopped your display; hindering me to see whats going on with you. But still I never lost the faith in the relationship and provided you with the best I could. We have listened to tons of songs together, watched unlimited movies and of course surfed hours of internet together. You taught me how to cook, how to code and to how to live. You were the first one I looked after waking up and you were with me in bed every night. There were

An year after the USA Return

Its been an year in India after I returned from USA , This blog post is to share the experience about how it feels to be back to your place after getting used to US way of living or rather its a post on how I see India after returning. Every Indian living abroad must have came across these lines 'You can go out of India, but you cannot take India out of you'. very true lines indeed. All the times I was in US there was never a day something or the other did not reminded me of my place and my people back home. Well to be honest same is the thing when you come back from US to India. One just cannot take US out of the mind; reason not being emotional. Reason is more of the difference in the way things are managed in India and US. There is never a day I don't compare the the way things were in US after looking at the conditions in India, be it traffic management, garbage, food, anything and everything, and I think I will never be able to stop these comparisons in my mind, a

Why is it so hard to go back to your own home country ?

I am presently in the state of mind where I have decided to go back to my home country i.e. India. But still there are few things which confuse me sometimes, and I am trying to list down all the points why it becomes so hard to go back to India, when you are currently holding a good job in United States. 1. Its something very unusual : Most of us live our life by example's , we make up in our mind image of some person or a general trend and consciously or unconsciously we follow that. But when I try to find an example of a person who has gone back to India when he has all the options of continuing the job in United states ,I don't find even a single. 2. Money : This one goes hand in hand with the first one. The income you earn in United States is much more than what an average software engineer earns in India. That is the reason it takes a lot of courage to even think about this decision. 3. Dude, are you really going back? : This is the kind of reaction which I get f

There is no place like 127.0.0.1

Today I read this line somewhere and at that moment itself this made perfect sense to me. For those who don't know what 127.0.0.1 it is ip address of localhost that means basically it points to your local machine which is your home. Yes that's absolutely true there is no place like your home that's the place where you are safe, that's the environment that makes you feel excellent, that's place where you can make most use of your creativity in positive environment. Same applies to the web world. Applications are safe when they are on the local machine, you can do most experiments there. But web applications needs to go out to different ip servers so that they can be useful to the users..in gae very same way you need to come out of your safe zone in order to do something useful for others.
