Google the name is sufficent to describe it power in the Web world.There would be hardly any person left on the Earth who surfs on the internet and dont use Google or the applications of Google. The applications of google are  increasing day by day as diligent Enggineers are working over several projects in Google labs,from orkut,gmail,adsense,analytics,earth,maps and many more its influncing life of many people.Each application provided by google is consummate.The Influnce of Google is such immense in the life of people , Sometimes even i wonder if i could search my things lost in the room,on Google :)



Here i am listing some of the applications provided by Google, try thm if you have not tried,and you will soon realize the power of Google.

General Applications

 1.Google Search Engine ;- Well you must have heard, Google have got more answers than God.

 2.Orkut-> Social Networking Community, u all must be familiar with it.

 3.Gmail-> Fastest online mailing Service i have ever Experienced.

 4.iGoogle-> Make your own personalized Google page, which contains a Google search box at the top, and your choice of any number of gadgets below

 5.NoteBook-> With Google Notebook, you can browse, clip, and organize information from across the web in a single online location that's accessible from any computer.

 6.Groups -> Google Groups is all about helping users connect with people, access information, and communicate effectively over email and on the web.

 7. Reader ->Google Reader helps you keep up with it all by organizing and managing all the content you're interested in. Instead of continuously checking your favorite

8.Alerts ->Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.

9. Google Talk->  Chat online and make free internet calls

 10.Google Chrome -> Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.

 11.Google News-> It is the Most Comprehencive News Service, which combines the news provided by all the networks on the Internet.

 12. Translate;-> Google provides a way to view webpages in other languages.

13.Health ;-> Google Health allows you to store and manage all of your health information in one central place.

  Applications for you if you own a website/blog

1.Sites -> Thinking of creating a website? Google Sites is a free and easy way to create and share webpages.

2.Adsense -> Google AdSense is the program that can give you advertising revenue from each page of your website,with a minimal investment in time and no additional resources.

3.Analytics -> If you own a website, this free service can let you know, no. of hits on you site, location from which site was hit,daily traffic,visitors,content overview,how visitors reached you site,, and much more.

4.WebMater Tools->Google Webmaster Tools provides you with detailed reports about your pages' visibility on search Engines.

5.Adwords-> Advertisers can distribute thier ad on Pay per click (PPC)  basic, through out the web world.

The interesting thing is that, Google doesn’t charge any money to use any of these services, and the net revenue of Google for year 2008 was $ 21.791 Billion. So the question is how does Google Earn.

The following point shows the earning of Google

 

1.       Advertisement -> The greatest source for revenue, in most of the applications of Google, you will find advertisement, as we don’t pay for listening to radio still they make money, same is the case with Google.

2.       Collect marketing data on consumer habits, then selling the data or using it for targeted advertising. 

3.       Adsense and Adwords -> When they distribute Ads all over the internet, they take some % of money for acting as a mediator.

In short, Google Rocks!!!

Well, I am going to write 25 Random things about myself, the idea of this post is just for fun, I haven't thought if even a single thing yet and I am going to write anything that comes to my head and the rule for this post is I cannot erase anything written. Why is it so hard to go back to your own home country ?

I am presently in the state of mind where I have decided to go back to my home country i.e. India. But still there are few things which confuse me sometimes, and I am trying to list down all the points why it becomes so hard to go back to India, when you are currently holding a good job in United States. 1.
